Bows; So Whimsical

When I was a little girl, I would watch old movies with starlets like Greta Garbo and Katherine Hepburn and marvel at their beautiful shoes and dresses. I would play dress up in my mother's clothing and try to look as glamorous as possible. So when I saw these shoes in a vintage shop, I had to have them. I love the bow and the razor-thin wooden heels. Although they do come across as a bit pompous, and I will admit that they are a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours, I can't help but love them because they are so whimsical. The bow makes my feet look like gifts! Sigh, if only I had a lucky man to give my feet to.
